Organization Background
Founded in 1983 and known as SEDCORP, the Solano Economic
Development Corporation is a collaboration of private and
public investors that provides a confidential leadership role
for economic development marketing in Solano County and its
seven cities: Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun
City, Vacaville and Vallejo.
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Solano Economic Development Corporation
is to attract, grow, and retain business and industry in Solano
County that will enhance the economic vitality and quality
of life in our communities.
Solano County is one of the fastest growing counties in California
with a population of over 420,000 and is comprised of seven
cities, Benicia, Dixon, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City,
Vacaville and Vallejo. Each of these wonderful communities
has its own unique character and personality.
Most importantly, the Solano Economic Development Corporation
